I am a real book lover. However, sometimes I face
difficulties when using physical books. Later, I heard of e-books. Let us just skip
the lengthy wordy introduction and skip to the advantages of e-books, shall we?
Travel. If you travel a lot, you know how heavy books are, especially when you
are about to finish one book and planning to bring another book along. This is
when e-books come in handy. You can bring the whole library wherever you go.Storage.
Books take a LOT of space. It can sometimes be irritating when you live in a modest size of room and you had to carefully arrange the books so that they will not be a mess. Nevertheless, with a reader, your bookshelf is positioned on an undersized handheld device, your computer or on both. It saves a lot of storage space and also means you have a backup online in case something would happen to your books.
Price.
In the long run, e-books are cheaper because no printing fees are associated. There are even free e-books online if you just knew where to find them. Physical books on the other hand, would normally cost something.
Font adjustments.
In cases where you experience eye sight difficulties, you can right away change the darkness of the lettering or the size of your font. You have little choice but to stop reading when your eyes feel stressed after reading a book too long. With an eBook, you can just modify the font size and carry on. It suits best for those who need outsize print books.
Night reading.
Habitually, people would read in bed. Therefore an eBook may be a good alternative as various readers come with built-in reading lights. These are trouble-free to use and won’t get in the way like the lights attached to actual books do.
There you have simply reasons to opt on e-books. Try one out and have fun :)
Furthermore, e-book saves trees because it doesn't use paper. Go green :)
ReplyDelete+ save space. No more bookshelf ;)
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, would you rather read an ebook, or a traditional paper one?
