So, have you ever heard a news about Teacher who lost her voice trying to make herself heard in a noisy classroom wins 150k payout?
This is one scary fact, yet could be an advantage for teachers too :p
Well, I'm not here to advise you on how teachers can maintain their voice health. Meanwhile, I'm giving you a suggestion to try this awesome invention; a wireless headset microphone.
Wireless headset microphone |
Here are some advantages and also the drawbacks to consider before you decide to use it:
ADVANTAGES
- Acts as an amplifier.*Teachers don't have to raise their voice to get students' attention
- Teachers won't lose their voice.
- Students would be able to hear although the teacher turn his back; writing on the board.
DISADVANTAGES
- Batteries must be frequently changed especially when often use it.
- Radio interference could occur from other wireless equipment outside of the classroom area.
You can watch this funny tutorial on how to use the wireless microphone through this link : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AT3aPstliNY. Enjoy!!
This is what we called "Teacher's Voice". Haha.
ReplyDeleteI think this microphone is very helpful for teachers.
Except that perhaps not every teacher is comfortable wearing microphone in class.
This wireless microphone has become common in many schools in Malaysia.Really hope for a smart microphone perhaps in future.
ReplyDeleteI love this! I think not only teachers should use this (considering their voice level), but students like us too. Specifically, in class presentations where I always find it difficult to hear the presenter's voice. This tool is highly recommended for those who have ... well how should I put this, squeaky voice? LOL.
ReplyDeletePretty amazing tool! it can come in really handy for teachers who have big classes or managing big crowd. the fact that teachers dont need to hold the mic and actually be comfortable with themselves talking in it while having hand gestures really helps! Hopefully they will enable this when it's our turn to be teachers in the near future! Inshallah :)
