Microchip Implant (RFID)

السلام عليكم

I have read some really fascinating and intriguing posts that were posted before me and I hope this one will be beneficial too. Working at the eleventh hour is still deemed productive though *doing that Ustaz Don's laughs*

Well, let's get back to the real business here. I reckon you must have heard of Global Positioning System (GPS) where it traces your location or it gives you the direction you need. I concede to the fact that this entry is gonna be a bit contentious. Thus, let's agree to disagree okay? Have you ever heard of Microchip Implant or colloquially known as a tracking device? It's actually a microchip that is implanted under your skin (just like in The Hunger Games) and it does wonder.

It has been a very contentious debate among the lawmakers, scholars and any other possible stakeholders. However, I see some benefits out of this. A few months back, Nayati Shamelin Moodliar was abducted and no one got a clue where he was until the ransom money was paid. The police could have traced the location of the child if he'd been implanted with this RFID microchip. Same goes to how Nurin Jazlin could have been saved before she was found dead.

Also, this thingamagic can also help Alzheimer’s Wanderers or patients. These people can barely remember things and they can get lost fantastically easily. So, with this microchip, the family members can locate their location and bring them home safe and sound.

Agree to disagree, professional kidnappers will know if there's a sophisticated microchip inside your body if they have the appropriate equipment to scan your whole body. But then again, it's all about lowering down the crime rates as best as possible.

p/s: Microchip Implant has more features than the aforementioned. Click here to read about it on Wikipedia.

    1. Yes, I find it really useful though. I am not sure if it's really expensive for humans. But as far as I'm concerned, the cost is around $45 if you want to implant this microchip in animals.

  2. Well, kinda cool actually. Ive actually came across this in ripley's believe it or not waaaay back during my schooling days. But they actually used it on their pets.n theree was ths case where the owner lost her dog and get to find her back after few years after the authorities knew there was a chip in it. But in my opinion, does this really work for human beings? Dun u think its going against the law of nature? Cz this thng has been around for some time but we havent actually heard a human being has one in it no? Just my thot...i dunno much bt ths maybe u cud fill me in bt this mre :-)

    1. Here, I'm not gonna draw a parallel between humans and animals. But if it works perfectly for animals, why there should have any problem for human beings? I don't really think it's going against the law of nature when we use it based on some circumstances on the ground. Most importantly, we are using it for the sake of safety, identification, etc. Well, you can check Amal Graafstra on Google. It's amazing how he leads his life with microchip being implanted under his skin.

    2. Wow. There is a person who have actually gone through this. Im amazed, really. But like some of the websites are suggesting, whatever surgery that you have gone through, there's always gonna be consequences. In this case, we can't really equate ourselves to animals ,no? cause our system don't just work like theirs. Period. If you dun already know, we have the most complicated system to be compared to other living things. Therefore the aftermath is even higher cause we might actually be exposed to cancer, infections, and other complications. besides, what are the guarantees that the information kept in the chip will not be scanned secretly, hacked, or misused by any third party? Basically, Im just saying yes, it might seem to be a good idea and all, but let's not get carried away and actually view from the bad side as well.

  3. I thought they are only available on films, I'm certainly wanna have one of these for my future kids. As for the law issue, make it only available for parents, or prosecutors.

    1. I wanna have it too! If my children get abducted by Muz, at least I'll know their whereabouts. I agree on that point, make it only accessible to the parents (so they will know wherever you go, or even if you don't go to school!). It's also a sign of being a good son/daughter, you don't want your parents to lock you down at home during weekends for behaving horribly. Hehehe.

    2. Im so honoured. really. to be taken as a criminal that would actually abduct your children. because I would not have any better things to do then. Wow.
