The SMART education solutions

Assalamualaikum~!

As future teachers, I know that most of us are having difficulties in finding new resources for lessons, especially new interesting ideas. Instead of using old-fashioned style of learning, we want to make learning becomes more interesting yet meaningful for student. Now, let's bear in mind that we have technologies to solve those problems! *yeay!*

Before this, I've heard about interactive learning and several useful websites for teachers. around the world. They can stay connected with each other by sharing new ideas (that's how technology helps to connect people, just like Facebook). As I browsed through the technologies used in education, I managed to find this very useful website on new technologies in classroom teaching- SMART education solution.

SMART education solutions provides various software and modern facilities for interactive learning

Interactive whiteboard and notebook are tools provided for learning. Teachers still can control students' activities while learning using notebook.

Besides that, various teaching resources and subjects are also offered at SMART tech website. You can easily download it for teaching purposes... There's no need to spend a lot of time for preparing the slideshow... ;)

This video is an example of the implementation of SMART technology in Liverpool.

Since 80% of second language learners are visual learners, the SMART classroom technology seems to work well for students in Cesar Chaves Elementary School, California by an increase of proficiency in English language by 30%! In Broadgreen Primary School, Liverpool, the usage of eLearning managed to increase their excitement in learning. Just imagine, they have their own notebook, they can write on the screen (just like writing on a paper), learn by using visuals instead of reading, and they don't have to carry tons of books in their school bag!

I think the SMART technology might work well in Malaysia if it is implemented. It  could be a little bit expensive, but I think it is a wise decision for adapting with new technologies in the classroom-as we have various types of learners, and I am a visual learner.
