Tech Issue

Adobe Photoshop
Have you ever failed to SAVE your project into jpeg, png or anything else? Or when you clicked SAVE AS function on File, a dialog box didn't pop up? Well its the bug. How to debug? Just simply update your photoshop, it will simply debug. For CS6 users, Adobe Photoshop 13.0.1.1 update for CS6 had released last September.

If you are too lazy to update anything, just choose to Save for Web (my friend said that this is working).
OR just go to File > Script > Image Processor and browse the document with your current project is saved into. It will process your image within that document and process your project into image but with smaller size (only in kb). Nevertheless, dapat save jugak.

OR, you can debug by editing the program's scripts. Programming, baby. Tough stuff.

OR, you can SAVE AS your project into image by using OTHER PEOPLE's photoshop. LOLOLOL. Just simply transfer you .psd file into other people pc, open the file up, and extract using theirs. Kan senang begitchew.

Yours sincerely, Pengalaman diri sendiri yang duka. ZOKZO.

Glogster, baby

I don't know how real a classroom can be held thru Glogster Edu, but I can't say it is impossible. It is just another option of boring traditional classroom which we already have nowadays. But again, it is just an OPTION. Online classroom can never defeat eye-to-eye learning experience. No teacher, different time zone(?), no surveilance, comprehensive questions can't be asked thru these barriers. Well it would probably work for kids who used to go online, but we don't wanna make the rest of the classroom missed out.

For the rest of the talk.

yea you stopped that car Edward. but where did my Van Gogh?

NO. No. Negative. I did not paint the above image of a sparkling vampire saving his helpless human girlfriend. I wish i have that much time and art supplies to produce such painting. But I just don't.
How to pretend to be an artist?

So this is the cheapest, fastest and easiest way to paint without actually painting.
1. Go to psykopaint. Then choose to paint from your own picture and select pictures from your computer.

2. Adjust it to the size that you want.

3. Choose the brush type, opacity and size

4. Begin applying the brush all over your picture.
(that wasnt really the brush effect. he's always sparkling)

5. Save it to your computer or Share it if you want to brag

Congratulations. No paint tube has been harmed.

Editing Photo is Funia! :D

Salam,

I shared a picture on Facebook with my friend and she posted the same picture to me except that the picture is edited with really cool style.

I asked her what software did she use and she said PhotoFunia and I immediately googled it.
Some of you may have found this website before but for those who never found it, here's the link:

It's a very instant (I'm serious) photo editing website with various patterns of effects and filters. Usually people use this software for fun because some of the effects are cool and some are super funny. Here's all the pictures that I've edited just now.

Puzzle Effect

 Photobooth  Effect

 Burning Photo Effect
I put cockroach because I just HATE it! (You can put your ex's pic if you want LOL)

 Kitty Effect
(Meow, I'm hungry!)

Hey, you can even create a calendar with it!

 Aqua Filter

Girl's Dream Filter

There are like gazillions more effects available and you all can check them yourself.
You can even put your face on Kirsten Stewart face and pretend to be Robert Pattison's girlfriend. HAHA :D

Happy editing, tata!

Whop..whop..whop..Woppa Gangnam Style!

Oh baby! No, they didn't *dramatically raise my forefinger*

Hey, folks! So, unlike my previous blog posts which were pretty much about weird (and cool :P - yeah right!) gadgets, this time around I'll be talking bout ASIAN INVASION. Yeah, you heard me! I bet by now, everyone must be rolling their eyes to the back of their brains looking at my title. Well, guess what!? I'm sorry, I really am. NOT. MUAHAHA.

The very much viral video of Oppa Gangnam Style by PSY is now THE MOST WATCHED VIDEO in  YOUTUBE HISTORY!

The Biebs may want to brush up on his dance moves or bring back his oh -so - famous hair which he flips every 5 seconds. In just 4 MONTHS, Korean pop star, PSY has outdanced (or shall I say horse-danced) the teen heartthrob all the way to the top of YouTube's charts.

Psy's strangely addictive (or to some [me], guilty pleasure -) video has just surpassed Justin Bieber's "Baby" to become the most watched video in YouTube history, according to video data tracker ChannelMeter and a Saturday morning tweet from the Korean singer.

Later that day, YouTube made it official, proclaiming Psy's "Gangnam Style" the most viewed video in its history, racking up more than 805 MILLION YouTube views. Bieber's two year - old "Baby" the previous reigning champ, sits at close to 804 million views.

Hold up peeps. The phenomena doesn't stop just right there. Get this. YouTube trends manager Kevin Allocca said, "Each day, "Gangnam Style" is still being watched between 7 and 10 million times."

ChannelMeter has some more bad news for JB. After much studying and analysing months of viewing trend data, the company is projecting that "Gangnam Style" will leave "Baby" cry in the dust and horsedance all the way to become the first video ever to reach 1 BILLION YouTube views.

"Gangnam Style" should surpass the milestone on December 16 by the company's calculations. Baby's view count, meanwhile, will stay relatively flat - unless of course, Beliebers join force to support their 'man'. Who knows, they might seek "RihannaNavis" (WHOOPS!) help to win this battle.

Anywhoooo, who knew Asians (specifically Koreans) would one day become this HUUUUGE and influential in the showbiz (which they already are now). As for me, thanx but no thanx, I'll stick to my very hardcore, rock bands. And 1D. And Taylor Swift. And Rihanna.

That's about it from me this week. Stay young beautiful people.

Much love,
Siti Muzlifah

Magic of Tomorrow

Stumbled upon a jaw-dropping, mind-blowing, hard-to-believe video of this guy showing his modern magic using nowadays technology; smartphone. Marco Tempest or known as the "Virtual Magician" and "Techno-illusionist" has won numerous awards for his brilliant performances.

"There’s no one quite like Marco Tempest. His imaginative combination of computer-generated imagery, video, music and stagecraft with his unique vision of future life is creatively unique and unequaled within the performing arts."
-marcotempest.com-

People said "seeing is believing" but I still cannot believe what I saw until now. I guess I shall let the video do the talking. Only then, you will understand what I mean.

Ssssssnake!!

It slithers around you...
Whoops! Did I get your attention with Miss Nagini? Oh, who's she? She's Nagini and if the image above reminded you of an awesome movie series then yes, it's from Harry Potter. Nagini, it's a snake or to be precise, a boa, and yes, it is a 'she'. She can be considered as one of the antagonists in the Harry Potter series. She is the loyal pet of the Dark Lord, Voldemort. Wow, he got an exotic taste for a pet! I won't be keeping a snake in the near future, no thank you!

If you guys are familiar with Harry Potter, Nagini also serves as one of Lord Voldemort’s Horcruxes. Horcrux is an item where Voldemort split his soul into. Basically, to kill him, you have to kill Nagini first and the other Horcruxes! Good luck with that!

Oh? What does this have anything to do with today’s post? It’s everything about that particular female snake of course! Nagini or any serpent-like creatures in the Harry Potter world speak in a special language called Parseltongue. Let’s all learn how to talk like them, shall we? I got just the right website for you to start your journey to be a reptilian being!

Clicky ---> [The Parselmouth]

You can just type any kinds of sentences and the website will translate your words into Parseltongue (the language of snake) and voilà! Be careful though, the volume is quite high and for a first timer, it might come out as a shock scare to you! So be careful, I don’t want you guys to wet your bed or getting a heart attack now! I can say it’s downright creepy to listen to how J.K. Rowling interprets snakes ‘talking’.

Now, now! Don’t be shy with Nagini, she’s bored and let’s chat with her to accompany her lonely soul? Ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss /bites tongue/ Ouch! :(

Would You Eat with THESE?

Now, Don't get all panicky. Just take a deep breath and exhale. Yes, that's right.
So, what on bageesus Earth is this thing? It's not some alienware that UFOs might just left and drop before leaving. Or...or.. Maybe it is! O_O

Sorry to disappoint you, but it's not the property of aliens. It's actually a set of cutlery created by a graduate from the Design Academy Eindhoven, Jinhyun Jeon to stimulate diner's full range of senses at the table.

The project was inspired by the phenomenon of synesthesia, a neurological condition in which stimuli like taste, colour and hearing are affected and triggered by each other. People with synesthesia often report seeing a certain colour when they hear a particular word, for example.

To find out whether this “sensory cross-wiring” could be encouraged and used to enhance taste, Jeon created cutlery based on five sensory elements: colour, tactility, temperature, volume and weight, and form.

The ceramic pieces shown above explore the effects of colour, with various coloured glazes defining the tips of each implement.

Warm colours such as red and orange are supposed to increase appetite, says Jeon, and are most effective when used sparingly.

Other pieces are made from stainless steel, silver or plastic, and the various textures and shapes are intended to stimulate the sense of touch inside the mouth.

The plastic pieces resemble glass, which creates a jarring sensation for the user when the item’s appearance is incongruous with its feel. ”We tend to believe our sight and touch would be the same, but this is not the whole story,” says Jeon.

“The tools I created make us focus on each bite, feel the enriched textures or enhanced chewing sounds between bites,” she told Dezeen. ”If we can stretch the borders of what tableware can do, the eating experience can be enriched.”

So guys, have you been mind blown yet or WHAT!?
I know I have!
The question here is, will you try using it? Or not?
1 thing fosho, I WOULD!

Well, isn't technology taking us by surprise each day? It's never- ending. Well, what can I say, don't even try coping with it LOL.
Till next time folks for more mind-boggling technos and gizmos!
P/s : Don't forget to bash me  leave your thoughts in the comment section.
Peace out!

Shrinkable car

Assalamualaikum..

Shrinkable car??
Could you imagine how a car can shrink?
In this modern era, many new inventions had discovered and developed by the scientists.
March 6, 2012 in Hanover, Germany, scientists at the world’s biggest IT fair unveiled
what they hope is the car of the future that

  • can shrink to fit tight parking spaces and
  • pick you up at the touch of a button

The example of shrinkable car.

Advantages of this car.

Ø  the length of the car can be reduce by 50 centimetres
So, if a parking space looks too small, the driver can reduce the car’s length.

Ø  the wheels can turn in a full circle
It allows a driver to pull up to a space and then move sideways into it.

Ø  it built-in sensors to avoid collisions
So, the car can also drive itself and can be summoned by smartphone

This innovation is still in progress.

Virtual Dressing Room, huh?

Have you ever been to a fashion boutique and the salesgirl got irked and smirked at us because we were trying on so many clothes? Just like how Mak Cik - Mak Cik Edu always do that to us? MySpace Like hey son of a peacock, get out now! Don't hate them now, because by using this cool software developed by a California company called FaceCake, you can try on as many dresses as you wish before you actually purchase them. MySpace

Using a setup built around the Microsoft Kinect and a live webcam feed, the Swivel system projects the user’s image onto his or her own screen. The available product categories appear in lists on the sides of the screen so customers can use hand gestures to select products that interest them. How interesting is that! No one's gonna see what are you gonna try on, because you will do it in your room. Privacy is secured this time.

The clothing, accessories and jewelry are digitally overlaid on the image of the customer. The items would fit realistically, taking the customer’s body shape into account. Shoppers can even turn around to see how clothes would look from the sides and change the on-screen background to see how the look would work in the real world.

Amazingly, Swivel will also make recommendations on outfits and even let shoppers take snapshots of different looks to send to friends and family. MySpace

p/s: By the way guys, this is our second teaser for the group projectMySpace
