Japan and Technology!

Assalamualaikum w.b.t

Technology is synonym with Japan. They invent and produce lot of new technology that we are not even thinking of. I have found a video from Youtube about new invented technology that are hot, smart and green! This video shows about self driving cars, artificial intelligence and plans for smart new communities.

This is It!

I guess this will be our last update for the blog? But let's just continue to share anything we found shall we? Great! Now, I would like to introduce you to WeVideo. Another beautiful video editor for you to use, I know you all are very, very obsessed with editing video so here it is. You can download it for free, yeah free, who doesn't like free things aite? Anyway, this will be my last for now. Toodles! We're still going to see each other along with madam Rose though, for a course in the next sem. I forgot what is it called.

The editor should be the same as Sony Vegas and other video editing softwares but let's just explore it okay? Perhaps, we will find a brand new effects or transitions or font for our text in WeVideo? Who knows unless we try to explore it ;)

Socrative....

Holaaa ya alls. And. Salam :)

We are future teachers and we need many tools to help us to make lessons as fun and interesting as possible and most importantly, effective for students to gain knowledge.

So...

Socrative is a smart student response system that empowers teachers by engaging their classrooms with a series of educational exercises and games. It is super simple and take seconds to login.

Socrative is available on tablets, smartphones, and laptops. Teachers can login through their device and select an activity which controls the flow of questions and games. Students also can simply login with their device and interact real time with the content.

Student responses are visually represented for multiple choice, true/false and Short Answer questions. For pre-planned activities a teacher can view reports online as a google spreadsheet or as an emailed Excel file.

Henceforth, Socrative engages students through games and exercises on any device they have on hand. Even better, teachers can easily assess student progress and track grades.:)

And it is freeeeeeeeeeeee :P

Want to make a reverse video effect?

Salam peeps,

Have you ever wondered how to make a person walks backwards?
Oh it so easy..You can make it using a video editing software but not all software have this effect. As far as I know, Sony Power Director and Videopad have this effect.

However, I want to share a software that can make a reverse video. It is called as
avidemux.

Firstly, go to the link below to download it. Once you've got that installed, follow the instructions below.

http://avidemux.en.softonic.com/

Open avidemux, and click on file, open. Upload the video you want to reverse. Click on "copy", under video on your left bar. Change it to MPEG-4 AVC. Click on filters, under that. Then click on reverse, and add(the plus sign). This adds the filter, which in this case, is reverse. Exit out of "filters" and go back to your video. Click on output, beside output, beside calculator. It should show your reverse video! Now save, and you're done!

Easy right?
And most importantly, it is free.
Have a try peeps!

Here is one of the example of video that I create using this software.

The Slow Mo~~

“Everything that slows us down and forces patience, everything that sets us back into the slow circles of nature, is a help.” -May Sarton

Assalamualaikum~

I used to be watching The Slow Mo Guys at Youtube since... I was 19, I guess...?
I think it it amazing to see things from other perspective, which is not normal to your eyes, but you will be able to focus on other details. You’ve probably seen some high speed cameras that shoot at astounding frame rates, such as the video of a popping water balloon, at literally ten thousand frames-per-second. A slow motion video is when the playback of a video clip appears to be slower than the natural speed of the events.

For me, this video is the coolest ever made by The Slow Mo Guys. (So far)  ;)

*I've never thought of exploding a watermelon using rubber band.lol. This is so cool!*

I am thinking of making this kind of video- with cool effects, but might need a high-resolution camera, maybe... Those who have a DSLR, you may try to do the slow motion effects, plus with the existing video effects software like Twixtor.

Adios amigos!

Powtoon!

Assalamualaikum buddies!

There are a lot of software I managed to discover this semester, including the software for producing great presentations.

Alhamdulillah, I've actually just finished my e-book project in group since last week. And the project was one of the best things that I've learnt in this semester. And today, I'd like to share one of the software that I used for our e-book project, which is the POWTOON!

This website is very useful in creating your own videos or presentations.Yes, all of the animations and pictures are provided, you can import your own pictures, sounds, and videos too. It functions  just like the Windows Movie Maker. But with a more professionally-look ;)

*See? There's a hand-effects there, which is one of my favorite!*

And you also may choose different background styles provided.

The best thing is that you can easily downloaded your project in mp4 format, and ready to be presented! (Seriously, you must try this one). I love it when there is no limit of the time frame... You are free to do whatever you want.

An here's one of the video that I managed to produce using this online software. Happy watching!

*I love the James Bond's soundtrack. Sounds like it's a real mission. The sound is already provided in the website.*

Door Handle with Self-sterilisation System

Assalamualaikum..

Imagine this... your hands are dirty so you go to the toilet to wash your hands. You washed your hands (with soap and you follow the 7 steps to wash your hands, bla, bla, bla) so your hands are now clean. You wanted to go out of the toilet and you turn the door handle. And guess what? Now you got more germs on your hands from the door handle than the time you walked into the toilet!

If you really care about hygiene, this is a perfect tech for you! (Well, that includes me :P)
As we all know, germs can easily spread through hand contacts, especially when we come into contact with surfaces that are shared by public.

That is why this Door Handle with Self-sterilisation System is built.

Door Handle with Self-sterilisation System

So how does it work?

  • When the handle is not being used, the UV lamp continuously sterilizes it to maintain a clean condition.
  •  The UV lamp turns off when the door handle is being used.
 Thank you for reading :)
